The University of Chicago’s longstanding commitment to excellence in interdisciplinary research provides an ideal context for a project on Virtue, Happiness, and the Meaning of Life. The Neubauer Collegium for Culture and Society will house the project. The Collegium supports innovative collaborative research projects of Chicago faculty, while pioneering efforts to engage a wider public in humanistic scholarship. It is a destination for outstanding visiting scholars in the humanities and humanistic social sciences from around the nation and the world, who come to collaborate with their peers at Chicago.
